Schiller Institute leader Helga Zepp-LaRouche then gave a strategic overview, beginning by noting we are also observing the 80th anniversary of the Potsdam Conference, when the victorious powers in World War II discussed their preferred post-war order in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"IPC #112: Oasis Plan for Palestine and Israel: Peace Through Mutual Development!\" width=\"860\" height=\"484\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8_fOFbZPrs4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zepp-LaRouche stressed that there is \u201ccomplete amnesia\u201d in Europe about the horrors of World War II, as Europe rearms to prepare for another world war. She added, \u201cBut no one can say that they are not witnessing the horrors going on in Gaza.\u201d Despite this, the UN two-state solution conference for Israel and Palestine set for July 28-29 in New York City, looks like it will not receive high-level attendance. Nevertheless, she called on everyone to continue to put forward the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/2.schillermeet.de\/?s=oasis+plan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Oasis Plan<\/a>. She added that, \u201cThe situation in Ukraine remains unsettled.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding the strategic picture in general, \u201cthe only counterweight\u201d to this bleak situation is the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eir.news\/2025\/07\/news\/dni-tulsi-gabbard-pulls-the-plug-on-russiagate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recent release of classified documents<\/a>\u00a0by U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, but \u201cthere is a clear effort by the mainstream media to play it down.\u201d The new material shows not only that Russiagate was a fraud, it was British intelligence associated, for the purpose of preventing any U.S.-Russia normalized relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zepp-LaRouche concluded by saying, \u201cWe absolutely have to follow up what\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/larouchepub.com\/eiw\/public\/unlisted\/2025\/eirv52n29-20250725\/7dn3M2whd6cVqlAx_eCxNkn\/5229-the_voice_of_the_global_majori.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr.\u00a0Pandor said<\/a>\u00a0to our Schiller Conference.\u201d We must expand the reach and impact of the IPC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Falk Reports on Gaza Tribunal<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prof.&nbsp;Richard Anderson Falk, in a prerecorded video presentation, reviewed international judicial moves against Israel\u2019s genocide and the work of the new Gaza People\u2019s Tribunal, which seeks to stimulate engagement by civil society. Falk is professor emeritus of international law at Princeton University, Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor\u2019s Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and former UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories from 2008 to 2014. Falk warned that despite the judicial rulings on Israel\u2019s crimes, there is an \u201cenforcement gap\u201d caused by U.S. vetoes in the UN Security Council, which has come to mean that \u201cthe UN was paralyzed\u201d in enforcement. We need \u201cmore than a verbal commitment to end this genocide,\u201d he said, adding that the Arab governments have \u201cproved to be passive.\u201d (His full interview conducted on July 23, will appear in&nbsp;<em>EIR<\/em>&nbsp;weekly, Aug.&nbsp;1, 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Congressional candidate Jose Vega (New York CD15) reported on the rally at the United Nations on July 24, organized by The LaRouche Organization. Demonstrators met new people from the U.S. and other countries who were campaigning, and in some cases fasting, to call attention to the starvation in Gaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Co-moderator Dennis Small said there are important events upcoming for peace and development that the Western media are ignoring. The upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization heads of state meeting in Tianjin, China Aug.&nbsp;31-Sept.&nbsp;2, will include President Xi Jinping, President Vladimir Putin, and perhaps Prime Minister Narendra Modi of, respectively, China, Russia and India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jacques Cheminade, head of the Solidarit\u00e9 et Progr\u00e8s party in France, reported on the mobilization by French activists to halt the genocide in Gaza. French media are beginning to pay attention. He concluded by saying that the \u201cOasis Plan has to be the main reference for the future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>U.S. Policy Morass<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Larry Johnson, former CIA officer and member of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS), said that we are entering an \u201cinteresting period of U.S. impotence,\u201d but that the U.S. is \u201cstill able to cause a lot of mayhem and death.\u201d He asserted that the Ukraine war will be settled militarily, not at the negotiating table. He added that the root cause of the war \u201cis very, very simple, it was NATO\u2019s expansion to the East.\u201d Returning to the theme of U.S. impotence, he said that \u201cTrump is boasting about sending non-existent military equipment to Ukraine.\u201d Trump wants to ramp up military production while waging economic warfare on China, a self-defeating strategy because we depend on China for critical supplies for military production. The U.S. desire to bully Russia and China with economic sanctions has provided the impetus for BRICS to begin building an alternative economic system. \u201cEvery single threat that comes out of Donald Trump\u2019s mouth concerning BRICS\u201d simply reinforces the movement toward alternative structures to replace U.S. dominance. The Global South has come to realize that \u201cWe no longer have to be held hostage to the West.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dennis Small responded on the question of the persistent belief in the U.S. establishment that we should dictate policy to the rest of the world: \u201cThe reason for this hubris \u2026 is not only phenomenal stupidity. If their system is to survive, they can\u2019t do it any other way.\u201d They have no way to maintain their enormous bubble of speculation other than to impose authoritarian rule on the rest of the world. He noted that Trump\u2019s new infatuation with cryptocurrency is an even worse approach than what they had previously been doing. They are going in exactly the wrong direction. The correct direction is to work with the BRICS, not to oppose it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zepp-LaRouche observed that U.S. policy offers military security, but not development, to the rest of the world. China, on the other hand, offers real development. She said that if the U.S. forces the world at large to choose between themselves and China, \u201cthe West will lose this battle.\u201d The West insists on a rivalry, on geopolitics. Neocon high priest Francis Fukuyama wrote a book in which he proclaimed&nbsp;<em>The End of History<\/em>. \u201cHow long did that prognosis last?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Deep State, British Hand<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zepp-LaRouche posed a question to Johnson: regarding DNI Gabbard\u2019s releases: who is stronger, Trump or the Deep State? Johnson replied, \u201cthe Deep State,\u201d adding that he thinks they could have released documents during Trump\u2019s first term, but they are doing it now to distract from the Epstein case. However, he agreed that those people in Obama\u2019s cabinet who ran the Russiagate hoax ought to be prosecuted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dennis Small observed how the Western media are covering Israel shooting desperate people who are queuing for emergency food aid in Gaza. Calling it a \u201cglobal snuff film,\u201d he asserted that the media present horror as a form of menticide, and there is a British stamp on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The British seek to \u201cgeneralize and convince the human species that we are a wolf to man,\u201d the doctrine of British philosopher Thomas Hobbes:\u00a0<em>Homo homini lupus<\/em>. The Schiller Institute titled its recent Berlin conference \u2018Man Is\u00a0<em>Not<\/em>\u00a0a Wolf to Man\u2019 in order to confront this evil. Creativity distinguishes us from every other species\u2014man is fundamentally good by nature, as is stated in the 10th and final principle by Helga Zepp-LaRouche\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"\/?p=93184\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ten Principles of a New International Security and Development Architecture<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In concluding remarks, Larry Johnson predicted that the next couple of months will be very consequential, and we will see a rapid conclusion to the war in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Helga Zepp-LaRouche reminded the participants that it was 50 years ago in 1975 that her late husband, Lyndon LaRouche, proposed both the Oasis Plan and the International Development Bank. Taken together, these initiatives would have created an entirely different world today.
