In London on March 2, following the meeting of a U.K.-hosted \u201ccoalition of the willing\u201d to support the destruction of the country Zelenskyy supposedly represents, he claimed that Ukraine could count on continuing U.S. support. And Zelenskyy said he\u2019d put such \u201csupport\u201d to good use\u2014by prolonging the war that is absolutely devastating Ukraine. Peace with Russia is \u201cvery, very far away,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump was furious. \u201cThis is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelenskyy, and America will not put up with it for much longer!\u201d&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eir.news\/r\/032fddaf?m=e6e885ec-2936-49b8-84d1-b2a9369836e5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">he thundered<\/a>&nbsp;on March 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt is what I was saying, this guy doesn\u2019t want there to be Peace as long as he has America\u2019s backing,\u201d Trump continued. \u201cEurope, in the meeting they had with Zelenskyy, stated flatly that they cannot do the job without the U.S.\u2014Probably not a great statement to have been made in terms of a show of strength against Russia. What are they thinking?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other steps toward ending the catastrophically dangerous conflict between NATO and Russia in Ukraine:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump advisor Mike Waltz&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eir.news\/r\/6ef91c81?m=e6e885ec-2936-49b8-84d1-b2a9369836e5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">points out<\/a>&nbsp;the absurdity of debating the nature of security guarantees in Ukraine when there isn\u2019t even a pathway to a peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Secretary of Defense&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eir.news\/r\/c3112ff7?m=e6e885ec-2936-49b8-84d1-b2a9369836e5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pete Hegseth orders<\/a>&nbsp;a halt to cyberattacks against Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But despite the thawing relations between Russia and the United States, can those two countries on their own create a peaceful outcome?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Kiev regime and Zelenskyy do not want peace,\u201d&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eir.news\/r\/c5d64c96?m=e6e885ec-2936-49b8-84d1-b2a9369836e5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">assessed Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov<\/a>. \u201cThey want the war to continue. So in this situation, of course, only Washington\u2019s efforts and Moscow\u2019s readiness will obviously not be enough.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There remains an apparent Anglo-French alliance for war against Russia, an alliance whose physical backing is&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eir.news\/r\/99b80011?m=e6e885ec-2936-49b8-84d1-b2a9369836e5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">far from adequate<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What role can the world play in preventing the intention for war, expressed by the U.K., France, and the Baltics, most notably?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, Trump\u2019s useful instincts with respect to Ukraine clearly do not carry over to economics. He is applying and increasing&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eir.news\/r\/49fb3f10?m=e6e885ec-2936-49b8-84d1-b2a9369836e5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tariffs<\/a>&nbsp;on Canada, Mexico, and China. And he plans to throw away government resources on crypto speculation,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eir.news\/r\/398bab3c?m=e6e885ec-2936-49b8-84d1-b2a9369836e5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announcing<\/a>&nbsp;a Crypto Strategic Reserve over the weekend. The announcement sent bitcoin prices up around 10%, a gain that completely evaporated by Monday evening. There were similar changes in the price people are willing to pay for other crypto \u201cassets.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Will Trump learn a lesson from the crypto antics of Argentina\u2019s lunatic President Javier Milei?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want to work on \u201cgovernment efficiency,\u201d scrap this crypto nonsense and get to work with building up U.S. infrastructure and productivity!
