It has a fantasy-like first movement followed by a quick <em>prestissimo<\/em>, and the whole is capped with a marvelous theme and variations, which Beethoven instructed was to be played &#8222;song-like, with the most intimate expression.&#8220;  Here Daniel Barenboim performs.
