Beethoven \u2018s use of\u00a0 thematic material from Mozart was not limited to opera. Note the development of the opening theme of Mozart&#8217;s C-minor Piano Concerto, K491, in Beethoven\u2019s C-minor Piano Concerto, Opus 37.
